  Hey there! I'm Brittany, (most call me Brit) and I'm the gal behind Mama B's micro-flower farm! I've been growing green things since I was in university, when I serendipitously took a horticulture class I thought would be an easy A. Little did I know just how much botany would steal my heart forever. Ever since grafting those plants in HORT 1001 (and getting my first set of stitches because of it,) I've been finding ways to keep experimenting, growing, and filling my home with blooms. 

My background is in counseling and social work. Getting to grow flowers and share them with you feels like a sweet union between my previous work of helping others improve their lives and the work I do now! Flowers are like therapy! These days, I get the joy of homeschooling my three kiddos, while also growing and making bouquets for you and those you love! Crafting a bouquet for those grieving, celebrating, or just because has been a deeply  meaningful way to be a part of this community.  

Our gardening as a family first began on our tiny patios while we lived overseas. Recently when we bought our first home, a little bit of land came with it. It was then we found ourselves growing for more than just ourselves. First it was family, then friends, and the garden just kept getting bigger and bigger. We opened our bloom box  in 2021 to share our bouquets with you! Your support has been beyond what we could have hoped! We sell out pretty much weekly because of your incredible support and the extra bouquets left over we donate to a few fantastic care facilities in our community

  This next year we're growing even more! We can't wait to show you what we have for you this summer! As always, we'll continue to do pre-orders and have the stand stocked on Saturdays.

We're growing slowly and sustainably- taking our time to protect our passion, but we're growing leaps and bounds every year. I'm grateful to get to be farming on this sweet little slice of earth and to invite my husband and kids to join me in it. It's because of you and your support we get to do this work each year.
